What is Microsoft Education?

Microsoft has partnered with Instructure Canvas to develop a new Microsoft Education LTI that integrates with Canvas and replaces all previous Microsoft LTIs. Now, Teams, Teams Meetings, OneDrive, and Class Notebook are consolidated into Microsoft Education and can be accessed in one location via the Microsoft Education link in the course navigation menu within each Canvas course.

Where do you find the Microsoft Education LTI?

The Microsoft Education LTI link is located in the Canvas course navigation menu. It is automatically enabled in the navigation menu in each Canvas course.

If you do not intend to use any Microsoft Education features (Teams, Teams Meetings, Class Notebook, or OneDrive, you can click on Settings in the navigation menu and disable it (turn it off). Disabling it will remove it from the navigation menu.
