Online@JSU offers training, support, and workshops to faculty throughout the year.

Presentations and workshops are provided by Online@JSU instructional designers and JSU faculty who are well-versed in online teaching and learning. These professional development opportunities include current topics in online teaching and learning, learning pedagogy, student motivation, student success, course design, alternative assessment, and more.

Instructional designers also offer tutorials and demonstrations on how to use the Canvas LMS, how to build courses, how to use the Canvas Studio, Turnitin Plagiarism Detection, Honorlock Test Proctoring, and Microsoft Teams. Tutorials and demonstrations are available throughout the year in both live, virtual formats and archived formats.

We also provide course consultations, program consultations, course assessments, program assessments, course design services, and course build services.
